Only health care and mental health licensees (or some students who will later become licensed) who meet the criteria for registration are eligible to take this training.  Please make sure you qualify before registering.  Both days of live instruction, required prework and outside classroom work will be required to complete the training.  The number of trainees in each training is limited, so please get your application in as soon as possible.

This training offers eligible health and mental health professionals working within their current scope of practice to become competent in the provision of the 5-Needle Protocol (5-NP) ear acupuncture or Acudetox.   Utah DOPL-licensed acupuncturists, physicians, chiropractors, naturopathic physicians, nurses, physician assistants, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, substance use disorder counselors, and clinical mental health counselors are eligible to provide the 5-NP ear acupuncture under Utah HB 0195-2022.
