Bringing the 5-Needle Protocol (5NP) to Utah
Amy de la Garza, MD and Elizabeth F Howell, MD started Utah Acudetox in 2022 to increase the availability of the 5-Needle Protocol in Utah.
Our Story
We are physicians and addiction specialists. We became trained in the 5NP in 2018 and 2019 and have been using it ever since (except for some downtime during COVID).
Both of us have participated in several trainings with Acudetox and 5NP specialists and became POCA trainers in 2022.
